It is largely contained within the Grand Canyon National Park — one of the first national parks in the United States. President Theodore Roosevelt was a major proponent of the Grand Canyon area, visiting on numerous occasions to hunt
 
mountain lions and enjoy the scenery.

Emaar water spectacle, Dubai

Emaar Properties  said, it plans to build one of the largest fountains in the world as  the centrepiece of its Downtown Burj Dubai project. The fountains, which has yet to be named, will be capable of shooting water over 150 metres into the air - the height of a 50-storey building - and stretch over 275 metres, the length of two football fields 
 

World's Largest Swimming Pool, San Alfonso de Mar, Chile

The man-made saltwater lagoon has been attracting huge crowds to the San Alfonso del Mar resort at Algarrobo, on Chile 's southern coast. It's acknowledged by the Guinness Book of World Records as the world's largest swimming pool, the lagoon measures more than 1,000 yards long, covers 20 acres, has a 115-foot deep end, and holds 66 million gallons of water. This monster pool uses a computer-controlled suction and filtration system to keep fresh seawater in permanent circulation, drawing it in from the ocean at one end and pumping it out at the other.
